The quality of the photos you supply will greatly impact the detail and realism of your pet painting. Please read the photographic tips I have prepared below.
- Try to supply photos which have been taken in natural light or outdoors. Get down to the same level as your pet and get in close filling the frame. Don't photograph from above or into direct sunlight.
- Take as many photos as you can, digital or traditional prints will do. I can never have too many for reference.
- Take extra photos of your pets face, particularly the eyes as they play a major part in bringing realism and character to the painting. The photos you provide should show the eyes clearly with accurate colour.
- Remember - the better the photos, the better the painting!
