My name is Michael Ahearne, I am a professional watercolour artist who specialises in animals and nature as my subject matter. Here's a bit about my background:

I was born and bred on the South Wales coast at Swansea, where after leaving school I studied art & design in college for a further five years.

I now have over 20 years experience of watercolour painting and am also a qualified graphic designer as well as a portrait artist. I am a member of The Chartered Society of Designers.

I currently live in Devon with my wife Jenny who is a Veterinary Nurse, my sons Billyand Jamie, two Rabbits and a Cat.
